Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “COP.” Overview The Maintenance Coordinator, under the general direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, provides oversight and guidance to all Division pipeline maintenance and construction activities. The Maintenance Coordinator is charged with the planning and scheduling of all routine and non-routine maintenance in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulations.This position will be based out of Billings/Missoula, MT. The position will either be primarily responsible for the maintenance of the Glacier Pipeline System from Cutbank, MT to Billings, MT or the Yellowstone Pipeline System from Billings, MT to Moses Lake, WA however; this person can be temporarily assigned to maintenance tasks for any of ConocoPhillips assets located in UT, WY, MT, ID, or WA. Travel is required 50% of the time. Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Coordinator may be responsible for:
- Ensure consistency of procedures, best practices and equipment through consultation and interaction with field maintenance organization District Engineer and networking with PIR operations support.
- Represent the Division in the development and implementation of Maintenance and Repair procedures and standards
- Ensure that effective long and short term maintenance planning and scheduling takes place by actively participating in planning processes and budget development with the Area Supervisors and Division Engineers.
- Be involved in planning for all significant Pipeline construction and maintenance projects.
- Drive effective prioritization of field work, and the implementation of criticality and optimization recommendations.
- Provide oversight and recommendation of critical equipment selection.
- Provide expert support to for the district and help find and access technical expertise to assist with specific problems.
- Provide primary contact point for organization on technical needs and issues related to pipeline maintenance and construction activities and projects
- Mentor and coach maintenance staff, recommend training and development.
- Conduct audits to ensure performance of processes and compliance with regulatory and company policy /standards.
- Provide oversight and supervise as necessary construction and maintenance projects to ensure quality and CPPL standards.
- Recommend and evaluate maintenance procedures
- Provide oversight for maintenance contractor performance and selection.
- Provide safety oversight for maintenance and construction.
- Assist with employee OQ qualification Evaluations
- Assist with DOT compliance audits.
- Assist with managing encroachments and ROW issues
- Assist with scheduling pipeline maintenance down time, communicating down time and project coordination to ensure down time opportunities are used to their maximum efficiency.
- Develop and or review pipeline decommissioning and commissioning plans
Qualifications
Basic/Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
- Must possess a valid in state drivers license
- Five or more years knowledge of field pipeline and terminal operations
- Five or more years of direct experience in industrial maintenance, crafts, shops and/or instrumentation in a pipeline work environment.
- Computer proficient with SAP, Word and Excel
- Willing to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
- Willing to work outdoors, occasionally in harsh weather conditions.
- Willing and able to safely perform strenuous physical activity such as lifting, bending and climbing stairs, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Willing to travel 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- Ability to read and understand process, instrument and equipment diagrams and vendor manuals
- Strong safety and environmental awareness and knowledge of HSE procedures
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Operator Qualified for maintenance procedures and qualified evaluator
- One year or more of direct experience in reading and comprehending Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's)
- Multi-craft experience.
- Supervisory experience in the petrochemical industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge of pipeline integrity programs and assessment techniques
- Proficient in planning, organizing and executing
- Effective in controlling cost and managing budgets
