Celebrating 100 years this year, we are seeking a motivated and reliable person to become a member of our successful Engineering team in our Adelaide branch.
Ideally, you will have a trade background as a fitter and turner or boilermaker and be experienced in scoping and coordinating job shop production activities.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will:
- Have experience with in-house and sub-contract manufacturing activities
- Be knowledgeable and experienced with Quality assurance processes for the batch manufacture of fabricated and/or machine products
- Demonstrate experience in project planning, scoping and co-ordination of job shop production activities
- Be proficient in MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- MS Project knowledge will be highly regarded
- Demonstrate effective time management skills
- Have high level communication skills
- Have a “hands on” approach
- Be flexible with a high focus on customer service
You will be autonomous but also work effectively in a team environment.

Key requirements and attributes include:
- A trade background as a fitter and turner or boilermaker highly regarded
- Experience with in-house and sub-contract manufacturing activities
- Experience with Quality assurance processes for the batch manufacture of fabricated and/or machined products
- Administration experience in costing jobs in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in project planning, scoping and coordination of job shop production activities
- MS Office proficiency with intermediate to advanced Excel
- MS Project knowledge desirable
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation skills and accuracy of work
- Working knowledge of in-house ERP systems and managing and updating engineering project databases
