Job Description:

• 3-5 years Experience in Open Cut mining
• $140k Base, plus super, plus bonus
• Brisbane Role

A Mid Tier consultancy company based in Brisbane providing mining engineering skills to the coal mining industry with a focus on open cut. We are seeking a motivated Mining Engineer to join our small team of highly skilled professionals.  The position represents an opportunity to be part of a tight team of engineers.

You will be well rewarded with an exceptionally generous base salary plus, plus a substantial bonuses structure.  This Role will also include Flexible hours, Overseas working opportunities such as Mexico, Chilli and the Philippines. 

Required Skills:

·         Appropriate tertiary qualification as a Mining Engineer

·         Minimum of 3- 5 years experience in mining preferably on site

·         Open cut Coal, experience a must.

·         Minimum 3-5 years previous strong experience with Vulcan and or Minescape

·         Strong knowledge in Mine Planning, Truck and Shovel Planning and Dump Planning would be advantageous.

·         Willing and able to travel within Australia mostly QLD

·         A high level of motivation and initiative

·         Well developed interpersonal skills

·         A High level of computer literacy

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Team player with excellent client focus

·         Strong problem solving skills

·         Needs to be patient and able to cope with deadlines and pressure during busy times
