Job Description:

Principal Duties:
• Carry out flight bookings on receipt of authorised Air Travel/Accommodation Request and process cancellations and amendments, configure bookings to suit priority for departures, when multiple planes operating on same day from same site, distribute flight manifests to airline and site, keep site updated with details of all flight arrival times, check monthly statement from airline and catering company against flight booking system and have authorised for payment.
• Day to day administration duties, Visitor Management, Newsletter administration, Process freight
and mail , Regulatory correspondence, Order stationery supplies as required, Keep Mine Inspection records

Requirements:
• Experience in a high-volume travel booking service in a FIFO operation preferred but not essential.
• Experience in working closely with contract service providers.
• Experience in using a computerised travel and accommodation booking system, such as Inflight or similar.
• Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
• Able to read and write English at an Upper Secondary School standard.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Work with attention to detail.

The operation is fly in/fly out from Perth on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster. Excellent on-site accommodation is provided. Recreational facilities include internet café, Foxtel, swimming pool, tennis court and gymnasium.
