Service Crew Members

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Service Crew Members with excellent safety records and who are able to share their already gained experiences with the rest of the crew.

The principal duties include but are not limited to:
• Hanging ventilation bags, air & water.
• Cable bolting
• Install & relocate secondary fans to extend ventilation services to areas as needed.
• Install and remove communication equipment.
• Install and relocate pumps to areas where needed.
• Repair services and equipment such as vent bags, poly pipes and valves.
• Hang blasting mats as directed.

The successful applicants will ideally have the following qualifications/experiences:
• C class drivers license, Working at Height certificate & Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Experienced with and ticketed to operate an Integrated Toolcarrier (IT).
• Experience with underground hard rock mining techniques.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques.
• Understanding of relevant sections of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
