Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   §  Nil lost tome incidents and safe work environment. §  Achieve 85% equipment availability. §  Maintain equipment within budget. §  Timely Procurement of capital equipment. §  Introduction of standard procedures at a rate of 10 per month. §   Full and efficient occupation of underground workshops. §   Full implementation of the Mine Maintenance Systems. §  Implement employee performance management processes to ensure optimum employee performance and take appropriate action to remedy any substandard employee performance or behaviour. §  Create a working environment which ensures that employees gain new skills and achieve their full potential by developing and implementing effective training and mentoring programmes. §  Ensure the extensive Training & Succession Plan is implemented on an ongoing basis, to ensure that Localization Initiatives are achieved in a progressive and seamless manner. §  Continually review every aspect of U/G maintenance activities to ensure that opportunities to add value and enhance shareholder wealth are identified and implemented .   QUALIFICATIONS   The successful applicants must have the following qualifications/skills:  

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent suitable qualifications.

• Minimum of 10 years as a senior supervisors in a similar industry

• Demonstrated  high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Strong leadership skills with Supervisory skills
• Performance orientation Honesty and Genuine.                                                                                           
• Demonstrated capacity to manage resources efficiently and achieve organizational outcomes in a timely and orderly manner.
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to contemporary leadership and management policies and practices
• Decisiveness, Resilience and resourcefulness
• Strong commercial acumen and Strong conceptual thinking ability
