Job Description:

An opportunity exists for a Planning Manager to join the Oaky Creek management team. This role offers flexibility to be either based in Tieri, DIDO from Mackay or FIFO from Brisbane. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, your key focus will be the management of risks and planning of infrastructure, improvement and innovation for the Emerald Region.

You will develop, implement and monitor technical and improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of business and strategic objectives. Your responsibilities include managing Business Interruption Risk, planning for Business continuity, overseeing and coordinating the gas drainage, survey, ventilation, geology, geotechnical and mine planning services.

Ideally your background will include relevant mining engineering qualifications combined with extensive technical and underground mine management experience within large and complex mining operations. This leadership role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
