Our US-based client is a market leader in the trade and distribution of aluminum, ranging from scrap to semi-finished products – both sourcing from and selling to international markets.
The “Country Manager, India” will develop, manage and grow the entire scope of our client’s metal trading activities in wholly-owned offices in the target market of India. The successful candidate will be able to build trading activities beyond an initial “road warrior” role by developing commercial relationships with producers and consumers and lay the groundwork for the onboarding of additional team members by developing and maintaining the sales opportunities pipeline.
The successful candidate will be a strong self-starter with the ability to speak fluent Standard Hindi and English. He/she will be able to bridge the cultural gap between the USA and India in order to construct a profitable business on our client’s behalf, while managing all risks associated with doing business in India. In order to become familiar with our client’s industry, products, clients and culture. The successful candidate will undergo training and onboarding at our client’s global headquarters in the USA for an anticipated period of 6 to 9 months prior to being stationed in India.
