Geophysicist Gulf of Mexico
Production Geophysicist - Gulf of Mexico needed for a full-time employment opportunity with an E&P company in Houston, Texas. The ideal match for this position will have a master’s degree in the geosciences, at least twelve years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and at least three years of recent experience in deep water. Additional requirements include significant subsalt seismic interpretation experience. Responsibilities include detailing reservoir characterization and accurately predicting static in-place reserves, recommending appraisal and infill drilling well locations, mapping new seismic data volumes, contributing to the team’s understanding of connected standard tank volumes, and interpreting and integrating 4D seismic data as part of the overall field surveillance plan.
