Successful candidates will support exploration efforts and in-house petrophysical analyses on unconventional resource plays across the US Lower 48 region. Job Description: This position is designed to improve the productivity of existing engineering/geoscience staff in the US Onshore Exploration Group, and staff in the Subsurface Technology Petrophysical Analysis Group, through performing data acquisition, manipulation, analysis, and reporting of results under the guidance of the associated staff. Secondly, the goal is to improve the access of information, knowledge, and relevant published technology through literature searches, data compilation and organization, and occasionally distillation of the relevant points from such material. Although the ability to perform these tasks immediately is desirable, many tasks will require developing the associated skills under the guidance of geoscience and engineering staff.
