This position is: Contract
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Position Location: Houston
B.S. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering from and accredited university with minimum to (10) years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Extensive expertise in specification, design and selection of static equipment for oil and gas projects is essential. Must be knowledgeable about codes, standards and recommended practices for this discipline. PMC experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience and capability to perform audit on FEED Engineers / EPC contractor on major oil and gas projects.
Must have offshore oil and gas & UAE experience.
Requirements: 5 to 10 years experience in engineering of subsea valves. BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law. Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures. Generally 3-5 years of experience in field with BS, or 1-3 years of experience in field with MS; EIT or relevant professional registration preferred.
