Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “COP.” Description: IT Shared Services – Production Control and Scheduling, Migration Services provides technical services to the global ConocoPhillips enterprise community.  This team supports scheduling and monitoring of production batch jobs on Unix and Windows servers throughout ConocoPhillips. Responsibilities may include:The primary responsibilities include:  

  • Performs in a leadership role coordinating efforts of this group including batch job scheduling, production migration services and interfacing with customers. 
  • Administer the Control-M scheduling and monitoring software 7x24x365 in the UNIX and Windows environments
  • Coordinate new Control-M implementations
  • Testing and troubleshooting of the Control-M environment
  • Disaster recovery planning, documentation and testing
  • Monitor production environment security
  • Communicate pertinent information and procedures to customers and staff. 
  

 

Qualifications

 

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS or related technical field
  • 5+ years experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software, including Unix/Windows OS, Oracle database reporting

 

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and multi-task in a team environment
  • Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively
  • Excellent communications, written and verbal, must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within business groups
  • Must be a self-starter, and willing to put in extra effort to provide timely support for business critical applications
  • Project management planning and implementation skills are necessary
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
