Sr Control Systems Designer Houston, TX, USA
This position is: Full Time
Salary: commensurate with experience
Position Location: Houston
Senior designer contractor position open for designer experienced in the review and comment of piping ISOs. Candidate should also have experience in the preparation of detail drawings, loop diagrams, and P&IDs in support of project. Perform I&C design applying design knowledge and exercising independent judgment and initiative. Communicate with mechanical, electrical, process and other interdisciplinary design groups. Apply both domestic and national codes and standards designing to specific state, local, and contract requirements.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MicroStation, INtools and PDS experience are required. 15+ years of instrumentation design preferably in the O&G refinery industry. Understanding of P&IDs. Familiarity with piping ISOs. Control system design and basic engineering knowledge + solid working knowledge of I&C design products for O&G process industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
AutoCAD a plus. Basic understanding of MS Office applications.
