Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillips stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “COP.” Description: Commercial IT Shared Services (CITSS) provides technical services to the global ConocoPhillips Commercial business unit. Responsibilities may include: The Pricing Application Support Analyst will be part of a team of IT professionals that support critical systems, reports, and data that are used by the entire Commercial business as well as many other areas across the corporation. The team supports pricing systems that deliver pricing information to many business areas and geographic locations within ConocoPhillips.  Over 700,000 price points are received and delivered on a daily basis.  These prices are instrumental to the daily operations of the Commercial business.  This position is responsible for monitoring and addressing issues with the processes, which deliver pricing information to the Commercial business systems area. Daily direct contact with other team members will enhance the analyst's ability to contribute to the team's success in a lively and fast-paced environment. The Pricing Application Support Analyst may be responsible for: 

  • LIM & Price Feed Monitoring System (Pricing database and publication system)
  • ProphetX (Real-time pricing service)
  • Providing on-call day-to-day 24x7 application support for both in-house developed and vendor packages
  • Working with business users to define and implement pricing data requirements
  • Working with various Commercial Support groups to fulfill application pricing needs
  • Responding to user data mining and data maintenance requests
  • Supporting of price delivery interface services
  • Responding to internal and external audit requests
  • Assisting with client management, vendor management, software license and maintenance agreement management, and communication of general ITSS  initiatives
  • Participating on project teams to define business requirements and understand the business strategies to ensure proper alignment of ITSS solutions
  • Ensuring appropriate service monitoring
  • Reporting on service metrics

Qualifications

  Basic/Required 

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability and willingness to provide day-to-day 24x7 application support for both in-house developed and vendor packages
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or IT related
  • Two plus years in application support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Good working knowledge of commodity pricing terminology 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment and support internal customers
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow a shift checklist
  • Strong ownership mentality for delivering results
