Job Description:
Our West Australian mining operations include the Koolyanobbing Project located in the heart of the Goldfields providing lump and fine products to the international market, exported from our Port Operations in Esperance and the Cockatoo Island Project, a Joint Venture in the Kimberleys. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will assist in maintaining the plant in a cost effective manner, working to achieve optimum levels of equipment performance in order to meet the mine plan and railed tonnes.
Your key accountabilities / responsibilities will include:
· Cost reporting
· Provide input for development and business improvement
· Data analysis using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
· Reliability improvement; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
· Identify equipment problems and develop potential solutions complete with estimates of the cost, benefits and risks of each solution
· Developing cost monitoring and forecasting methods and reports in accordance with the Cliffs maintenance strategies and budgets
To be successful, you will possess the following:
· Degree qualifications in Mechanical/Materials Engineering
· Current “A” class driver’s licence
· Experience with maintaining classified plant and mobile mining equipment
· Solid understanding of maintenance strategies for large-scale mining operations
· Advanced skills in MS Office (specifically Excel and Project)
· Experience using Ellipse; understanding of JDE will be well regarded
· Attention to detail and well developed analytical skills
· Strong interpersonal skills with a team focus
