Job Description:

This 6-9 month role will be responsible for:
- Develop key relationships with the global Talent Acquisition (TA) team leads and Talent Management (TM) managers to expedite talent acquisition needs, with a specific focus on processes and programs which will scale globally.
- Closely partner with Corporate and Discover and Development (D&D) TA Leads to drive and manage roll out of processes and programs.
Report on TA processes and programs (i.e. project time lines, dashboard metrics, etc).
- Ensure integrity and compliance with policies and procedures through the entire talent acquisition process, i.e. immigration, background checks, SOx compliance and reporting to minimize potential liability to the company
Specific Applicant Tracking System (ATS) / Taleo Projects include:
Currently Newmont has the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on the Enterprise Edition of Taleo 10 Recruiting Solution. Over the course of this contract, two regions will be added, current systems will be maintained and optimized, and new recruiting solutions will be added.
2 Regional Implementations (Ghana and Peru)
- Participate in scoping and design session
- Lead regions in gathering, standardizing and optimizing correspondence and content
- Support training content design, train the trainer and delivery support
- Participate in system testing in staging and live zones
- Pre and post go live weekly and ad hoc meetings
- Deployment activities
Taleo passport integration for background and drug screen services in the United States
- Current state process documentation
- Collaborate to create future state process design
- Assist in collection and development of content for integration
- Support training content design, train the trainer and delivery support
- Participate in system testing in staging and live zones
- Deployment activities
Management and Planning:
- Manage and lead execution of work plans to meet deliverables and milestones
- Recognize and manage risk within day to day operations
- Continuous improvement of processes and systems
Build and Maintain Effective Relationships/Partnerships:
- Inform, influence and engage key stakeholders
- Build and maintain collaborative internal relationships
- Build trust and credibility and manage relationships with internal networks and external contacts (e.g. Corporate and Regional HR teams, suppliers, community, industry) to achieve business results
- The position is located in the Denver Corporate office
- Position will require domestic and international travel (15%)
- Willingness to put in extra hours as travel, projects and priorities dictate; ability to accommodate meeting times outside typical business hours to attend global calls, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organization Development or Human Resources is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in another area and related work experience acceptable.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in human resource and/or talent acquisition fields with strong focus on Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy work
- Strong program and/or project management skills and experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and adaptability to work with people from various cultures and areas of the business
- Strong decision making orientation; interface effectively with site leadership and carry a strong point of view to a positive decision
- Previous experience managing the recruiting process using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Taleo (Enterprise Edition) strongly preferred
- Proven ability in effective verbal & written communication and presentation skills
- Extremely detail oriented, proactive and organized with strong technology and Microsoft office skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility to change priorities when situations arise
- Previously demonstrated project management and analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions, and take action
