ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Duties will include but not be limited to:
 
  To carry out maintenance, break downs, fault finding  and installation work within
a production environment
  Design and build basic control systems.
  Identify and update drawings, catalogue spare parts and equipment.
  Update and maintain asset register using a maintenance management system. 
  Carry out basic instrumentation installation, repairs and adjustment.
  Be conversant with VSD’s and PLC’s.
  
This role requires an individual who demonstrates leadership in the areas safety and
the environment.  Excellent working relationships with all personnel are essential, as
well as a proven track record within the electrical field.  Some flexibility is needed as
extra hours are required for callouts.
 
Applicants must have a relevant trade qualification and a C class driver’s licence.
