Job Description:
- To collate and report information on geological resources in the Murray Basin.
- To prioritise and implement work required on the resources to ensure they are an appropriate level for resource evaluation.
- To carryout resource evaluation studies to assist with the ranking of resources.
- To support and supervise technical programs associated with project development.
- To assist with presentation and reporting of project data.
- Ensure the quality of all resources calculated on resources in the Murray Basin, by overseeing data collation and either completing or auditing resource modeling.
- Develop a geological understanding of the Murray Basin.
- Fully participate in the occupational health and safety, and environmental programmes.
- Position requires incumbent with a tertiary education in geology.
- Must have well developed computing skills in basic office and mining type software plus an ability to comprehend data presented electronically.
- It is essential that the incumbent has practical field support experience.
- Hold a valid manual drivers licence.
- Overall - it is likely that a suitable incumbent has not less than 5 years post graduate experience preferably in the mineral sand industry.
