Job Description:

• The function of this role is to carry out and supervise field operations in the Murray Basin. The role requires interpretation, presentation and reporting of exploration results. The purpose of the position is to discover economic mineral sand resources.
• Carryout field operations involving location of drill sites and drill hole logging.
• Oversee all aspects of the technical support for drilling operations including all contractors and Bemax employees.
• Carryout routine collation and presentation of geological data using geological software.
• Fully participate in the occupational health and safety and environmental program including the safety of all field personnel.
• Position requires incumbent with a tertiary education in geology.
• Must hold a valid manual drivers license.
• Ideally the incumbent would have practical field support experience.
•  It is preferred the successful candidate reside in Mildura or surrounding areas.
