 GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION 

Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will safely maintain a fleet of shovels and drills. Carry out all scheduled maintenance, act quickly to rectify and complete repairs due to unscheduled maintenance, participate in continuous improvement initiatives in a positive manner. This employee will also be responsible for reporting in writing a detail of work activities at the completion of every job. Other duties as assigned. 

SELECTION CRITERIA 
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements: 

• Three (3) years experience in related field preferred. 
• Ability to maintain an inventory of personal tools to complete the job required. 
• A high level of hydraulics and electrical skills required. 
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required. 
• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team orientated and work with minimum supervision required. 
• Proven safety record required. 
• Excellent attendance record required. 
• Willingness to work in adverse conditions required. 
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
