This compensation package couples with an extended mine life makes Newmont a great employment opportunity. The Undergrond I&E Technician will install and maintain underground communication networks, various instrumentation and power monitoring equipment.  Essential duties include:

• Install & commission high voltage underground, surface transformers, splice boxes, and high voltage switches
• Ability to design and troubleshoot control circuits
• Be able to size cable, breakers and fuses
• Work that meets MSHA and NEC code
• Experience with high/med/low voltage power distribution systems
• Knowledge of power monitoring equipment and installations
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and repair instruments & electric equipment
• Familiarity with the installation of leaky feeder radio systems

Employees will perform other duties as directed and needed by the company to ensure optimal safe operation.
